Established in 2012: trading agricultural products and gift boxes
By 2015, the Company had quickly become a leading supplier of products made from Hibiscus calyx and gift boxes in Vietnam. Upon realizing that their effective business operations were generating a significant amount of environmentally damaging packaging, the co-founders had to take strong steps for transformation.
Trao Group was officially established in June 2016
All of Trao's products and services help humanity open the path to a luckier and more wondrous future. Currently, Trao's four main business areas include: Seed Gifts (Gieo), Books (Trao Publishing), Children's Music (Trao Studio), Courses (Seed School).

August 2016: The Seed Lucky Money (Li xi hat giong) idea was born
Since 2016, Gieo has begun to introduce Lucky Seeds and Spring sowing as an alternative to the traditional giving lucky money (li xi) in cash and Picking the first buds/sprouts of spring for good luck.When successful, the project will help billions of seeds be sown, millions of trees be planted, and millions of people be inspired to become more kind and love nature.
Tet 2018, the Seed Lucky Money product was launched on the market for the first time
The product immediately received support from teachers, parents, and businesses. In that year, Chuyen dong 24h and ANTV were the first two television channels to do a report on Seed Lucky Money.
Tet 2019: Launched the comparison artwork series between Cash Lucky Money and Seed Lucky Money
The photo series, created by Gieo and consisting of 10 images, was immediately Kenh14 and Afamily reported on. According to Afamily, this meaningful photo series will make you want to give children Seed Lucky Money this Tet.
Organized the 1st Seed Lucky Money Design Competition – Tet 2019
The competition encouraged everyone to save seeds after eating fruit, write beautiful wishes and personally make lovely envelopes to hold the seeds, then gift them to loved ones at the beginning of the new year.
The 1st competition attracted 32 schools across 8 provinces and cities
15 press and media outlets participated in reporting on the competition. 35 seed lucky money making events were held. In the same year, Vinpearl Vinpearl also organized the Seed Lucky Money Design Competition for children across all 9 of their resorts nationwide, following Gieo's format. Simultaneously, Vinpearl also gifted Gieo's Seed Lucky Money to all their customers during the Lunar New Year.
May 2019, Invest in Gieo Cafe
The cafe is a fresh and peaceful green space. Throughout its 4 years of partnership, Gieo Cafe has organized numerous events and workshops on music, art, the environment, green living, and happy living for Trao Group.
In March 2023, when Trao Group relocated its operations, Gieo Cafe was also transferred to a friend of Gieo's.
Seed Lucky Money Design Competition - 2nd Edition – Tet 2020
Tet 2020, the Seed Lucky Money Design Competition returned for its 2nd edition. This time, the competition was co-organized by the Grassroots Information Department (Ministry of Information and Communications). The competition attracted the participation of 102 schools across 20 provinces, cities, and islands, with Seed Lucky Money making events Seed Lucky Money making events held.
The closing ceremony and award presentation event took place at Marie Curie School (Hanoi), attracting 1000 attendees, and including many guests from the Government and 60 press and media agencies.
Many Corporations Choose Gieo's Seed Lucky Money
In Tet 2019, Vinpearl gifted Gieo's Seed Lucky Money to all customers across the entire Vinpearl Resort system. In Tet 2020, Omo included Gieo's Seed Lucky Money in 125 Co-opmart supermarkets and their program"joyfully plant Tet buds, get dirty sow good things". Additionally, many other corporations have also collaborated with Gieo in green living programs such as Google, Grab, Heineken, FPT, Mobifone, Toyota, Vissai.
November 15, 2022, the Prime Minister of New Zealand received a gift from Trao
Ms. Jacinda Ardern received meaningful gifts from Trao. As someone who cares about the environment, Ms. Jacinda Ardern expressed her delight and appreciation for Trao's products.

In January 2020, Trao launched the comic book "The Legend of Seed Lucky Money"
This 100-page full-color comic book will take you to the fairytale land of Gieo – a place that nurtures small, beautiful, and fresh things for this Earth. The book is a deeply humane work about respect, love for nature, and kindness.

In October 2020, Vinschool Elementary School chose the book "'My Wisdom is Here' – Part 2" to tell to the entire school
At that time, the book had only a trial reading version and was not yet printed. The teachers prepared lessons with slides for the students in class. Afterward, Mr. Luong Ngoc Duc was also invited to the school to interact with the students.
December 2021, composed the song ‘Sowing Green Dreams’
The song marked the beginning of Trao Group's songwriting career. ‘Sowing Green Dreams’ tells the story of ‘Ô La La’ – the Hero Seed, on its journey to sprout into a green seedling. The song was a collaboration between Trao and musician Ninh Van Hai.
June 2022 – Published the comic book "My Wisdom is Here" – Part 2 (sequel)
The book bringing readers a new perspective on the true wisdom of human beings. In that perspective, wisdom is lovenot deception.

In 2022, temporarily suspended the Tet gift business line
Since 2016, Trao Gourmet & Gifts has sought every way to minimize the environmental impact of this business line. In 2018, Dan Tri Newspaper also reported on a letter of apology to the Earth from Trao Group. In 2022, after unsuccessful efforts to change, Trao Group temporarily suspended this business line because it was no longer aligned with the company's core values.
