The "Nurturing Green Sprouts, Sowing Happiness" Contest – A Journey of Fulfillment

After more than two months of spreading love and the green living spirit, the "Nurturing Green Sprouts, Sowing Happiness" contest, organized by Gieo and Cầu Vồng Tuổi Thơ Journal, officially concluded with a Final Ceremony and Award Presentation on the morning of May 24th at Hanoi Star Primary and Secondary School

The Final Ceremony and Award Presentation Was Broadcast on Television

In its first year of organization, the 2025 "Nurturing Green Sprouts, Sowing Happiness" contest aims to realize the goal of the Project to Plant One Billion Trees during the 2021–2025 period, as approved by the Prime Minister. Concurrently, it contributes to achieving the objective of comprehensive education through meaningful and highly humanistic practical experiences.

The Final Ceremony and Award Presentation was successfully held.

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hậu, Gieo Project Manager, represented Gieo and shared her thoughts during the ceremony.

Through this emotional journey, every contestant gained beautiful experiences and created stories intertwined with the lessons learned on their path to maturity. With each submission, the children not only learned how to sow green sprouts but also reaped their own distinct rewards; these include rewards related to gratitude, perseverance, and the spirit of courage.

From the planting kit, the story of the green sprout nurturing journey was written, carrying the unique mark of each contestant.

The representative of the Organizing Committee presented flowers, Certificates of Recognition, and Commemorative Plaques to the accompanying partners.

The contestants excellently completed their entries. Notably, the overall First Prize was awarded to Bùi Anh Khang, a student from class 5C at Ngô Quyền Primary School (Hai Bà Trưng District, Hanoi City), for a video highly rated by the Judging Panel for its professional quality and attracting a large number of votes and interactions on social media. After receiving the award from the Organizing Committee, Khang emotionally shared:

“The most precious thing I gained after this contest is not the prize, but the profound changes in my thoughts and emotions. I learned how to love a tiny life, and I know that every small action for the environment today will lead to something good for the future.”

“I hope that after this contest, it's not just me, but all of us—the young sprouts of the country—will continue to spread love, compassion, and more acts of kindness, so that the world becomes greener, cleaner, and happier.”
