The Tiger Album through the eyes of a 9-year-old young singer: Both fun and touching

Duc Anh is a talented young singer, currently studying at Le Van Tam Primary School. He started being exposed to music when he was in kindergarten, inspired and guided by his mother – a professional Piano artist, and his maternal grandfather – People's Artist Do Quoc Hung. Duc Anh participated in the Album Tiger with the role of a singer performing 3 songs, highlighting his soulful and natural voice. Dreaming of becoming a singer in the future, Duc Anh always considers music an indispensable part of his life.

Duc Anh - The playful young singer of the Tiger Album

Hello Duc Anh, could you introduce yourself a little bit? 

My name is Duc Anh, I am 9 years old this year and currently studying at Le Van Tam Primary School.

In the Tiger Album, what role do you play? 

I am the singer of 3 songs in the Tiger Album.

In your family, what role does music play for you? And when did you start being exposed to piano and vocal music?

In my family, music plays a very important role. I was exposed to piano and vocal music since I was in kindergarten. Besides that, my grandfather is People's Artist Do Quoc Hung. 

Your mother is a professional pianist. When you began exploring music, how did she help you? 

My mother encourages me and guides my musical path.

When recording the Tiger Album, did your mother guide you in vocal practice? 

My mother explained the story of "This is My Wisdom" to me and guided me on how to sing the songs in the Tiger Album.

Before recording the Tiger Album, what did you prepare? 

I read the lyrics of all three songs and asked my mother to guide me on the specific content of each one. 

During the recording process, did you encounter any difficulties?

During the recording process, I didn't feel any difficulties at all.

Is there any part of the music or lyrics in the Tiger Album that you enjoyed the most? Why? 

I really like the verbs that describe the actions of the Tiger and the villagers. They are very vivid and express a lot of emotions. 

During the recording process, what is your most memorable moment? 

It was a very cold winter day, and my mother and I prepared from early morning to go to the recording studio.

With the 3 songs you performed, do you like the Tiger Album? 

I really love it and I see that everyone put a lot of effort and care into this album: the musician, the story writer, the author, so many people! I feel both happy and touched when I hear those melodies.

Do you dream of becoming a singer in the future?

Yes, I do. 

What is the source of inspiration that makes you have that dream?

My inspiration comes from my grandfather - People's Artist Do Quoc Hung.
